About Westside Basketball
Coach and Owner Kevin Schmidt
Westside Basketball Academy was founded in 2000 by Kevin Schmidt and its primary mission is to create a place for kids to embrace their love of basketball and develop their full potential.
Academy coaches work with athletes to improve their ball handling, shooting, passing, dribbling, individual and team defense, and proper footwork for attacking the basket. Our coaches have played the game and have coached athletes at all levels. We understand kids and how they learn, what motivates them and how to make them successful.
Participants in our program will learn the art of basketball. They will learn that their passion, commitment and hard work will lead to confidence and will allow them to perform at their highest level.
